Ammo Magazine Issue 9 launch @ Boxpark, London

Ammo Magazine Issue 9 launch @ Boxpark, London

I was invited to take over the 55DSL space at the Boxpark in Shoreditch for a day in June. Boxpark is made up of metal shipping containers and houses some of the worlds leading fashion brands. I decided it’d be the ideal place to launch issue 9 of Ammo.

Shellsuit Zombie invited me to take over the box for a day as part of a 30 day takeover. Each day the box was occupied by creative collectives, individuals and even a one day music festival.

I decided to create hand made outer packaging for issue 9. The cover artwork for this issue was drawn by Jamie Mitchell (co-founder of Ohh Deer) and he joined me in the box with a popup stall containing a range of Ohh Deer illustrated products. I was also joined by Michelle Turton (co-founder of Inkygoodness) who brought a selection of blank beermats for artists to draw on as part of their beermat character tour.

Lots of people visited us throughout the day and in the evening we all enjoyed some free beers courtesy of the guys at Oranjeboom.
